I TOTALLY understand!
I just received my replacement parts order and I couldn't help letting out little squeals of joy followed by "Awwwww!"
I am definitely around the bend. The source of my wonder was a little box of doll shoes. I adore my dolls, I like their clothes and accessories, but the shoes hold a special place in my heart. I think it may be reminiscent of long, long ago when my own children were small. Nothing gets me in the gut more than a wee pair of baby shoes and you can't get much weer (hmmm . . probably not a real word, but you get the point, right?) than doll shoes.
I ordered replacement shoes for Marisol and Kailey (just in case) and I also ordered an extra pair of Kit's school shoes just because they are SOOOO Cute!!! LOL

I absolutely LOVE doll shoes too! My favorite AG shoes are Kit's black patent T-straps that go with her Christmas dress and Molly's saddle oxfords. I wore saddle oxfords when I was in middle school and high school and I've always loved them.

I love little shoes.....hehehhehe
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">My dolls must have over 15 pair of saddle shoes in a bunch of colors. Red/white, black/white, navy/white, light blue/white, green/white, pink/white and even orange/black for Halloween. Loooove saddle shoes and MJs. The green/white ones are perfect for the green/white Inuyasha sailor uniform.Originally posted by sewfancy:

I think I might be in need of a 12 step program for AG shoe Addicts! I counted my shoes the other day, and I now have over 80 pairs... Maybe I'll stop when I reach 100... Who am I kidding, the only way I'll stop buying shoes is when I run out of $$!!

DaisyDee, it's interesting that one of your desired outfits is the Sock Hopper outfit, because shoes were prohibited at sock hops. Normally held in gyms, street shoes were not allowed as they would scuff the floor, so we could only wear our socks... Of course you could wear your saddle shoes to and from the gym, but no shoes at the dance.

I am totally with you on this one!!!
I am always buying more shoes for the dolls---they are just the cutest!!
I still have all my kids baby shoes, I couldn't bear to part them, they are soooo cute!!!!
I LOVE dolly shoes too. I counted mine and my dolls have 38 pairs of shoes. In contrast I only have 18 for myself.
